With a 6-4 loss to the fuckin' Yankees tonight, the Orioles have lost six in a row, and look more like the team we've come to expect these past seven years. Baltimore's starting pitching sucks, its bullpen sucks and its offense sucks. What a scary combination of attributes for a professional baseball team.
Also, Sammy Sosa is the biggest waste of space in the history of Major League Baseball. The Orioles should try to trade him or bat him eighth in the lineup. I hope he gets injured and cannot play again this season (or any season after in Baltimore).
I derive a lot of pleasure out of the Yankees losing; almost as much as I do from seeing the Orioles win. So when the O's lost a 3-run lead because of walks, balks and sheer stupidity, it sent me into a very quiet, but very volatile, rage.
I don't know what's worse. This season's version of the Orioles; a team that teases you with an excellent two-month start and seemingly boundless talent. Or, the last seven seasons of Orioles teams, which just sucked from start to finish. I think I'd rather not be teased.
